For those who don't and have came upon this site by chance, Jonathan Ian (AKA Jonathan Ian Mathers) is better known for his comedic creations, Foamy The Squirrel and 4y-Records, among others. His solo music career had gone largely ignored by the masses with the exception of a few fanatical fans who traded tapes, discs and digital versions of his music to spread it to anyone who would listen.

Starting around 1995 with little more than a cheap guitar, cheap recording equipment and a handful of chords to his knowledge, over the years he's carved out 6 LPs, 4 Eps, and 2 compilations of rarities.

Somber, melodic, catchy, and mostly, very angry, his solo acoustic music has touched the nerves of many a heart-broken loner creating a small but loyal base of fans the world over.
